What is letterpress printing custom cards?
Letterpress printing is created by pressing foil letters into the paper, leaving a slight debossed impression with a luxurious tactile finish.
What is the difference between embossing and letterpress?
Embossing raises the design above the paper surface, while letterpress presses the foil design (only letters) into the paper. Embossing creates a raised texture, whereas letterpress creates a recessed impression.
What paper is used for embossed and letterpress custom cards?
Our embossed and letterpress custom cards are produced on FSC-certified, acid-free & recyclable textured paper stocks for Luxe finishes.
Are the cards eco-friendly?
Yes. The cards are made using FSC-certified, acid-free & recyclable paper and use non-toxic ink making them eco-friendly and recyclable.
What paper textures are available?
We provide 4 premium paper stock options: White Cloth, Eggshell, Aesthetic White & Recycled White Paper
Does textured paper affect printing?
Yes. Textured paper may slightly soften very fine details and colours compared to coated smooth paper, while adding a more premium tactile appearance.
What thickness are the cards?
Our premium textured paper cards are available in 320 GSM (For darker backgrounds) & 350 GSM (For lighter backgrounds) paper.
Can I print colours along with embossing?
No. embossing shall remain blind, but you can add other designs elements for printing.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Double-sided printing is available at no extra cost.
What design options do I get for my custom cards?
We provide 3 versatile design options:
Blind Emboss + Print: Embossing will be blind. Other content or design can be printed in multiple colors which includes background colors, image-based prints on both sides.
Letterpress Foil + Print: Letterpress printing gives a slight natural premium debossing effect and can only be done with foiling. Other content or design can be printed in multiple colors which includes background colors, image based prints on both sides.
3D Foil + Print: 3D foil is foil printing on an embossed logo/design. Other content or design can be printed in multiple colors which includes background colors, image-based prints on both sides.
Is foil stamping eco-friendly?
Foil & letter press printing is recyclable using specialised recycling programs only (like TerraCycle-type services.
What designs work best for embossing?
Bold logos, thicker typography, monograms, icons, and larger design elements produce the strongest embossing results.
Can I customise the size and shape?
If your custom size falls under 105 x 190 mm dimension, then MOQ is 100 cards. If custom size is over the mentioned dimension, they can be customised at an MOQ of 10,000 cards. If you are looking for custom shapes, the MOQ would be 10,000 cards,
What file formats do you accept?
Recommended formats: AI, PDF, EPS, SVG, PSD
High-resolution PNG and JPG files are also accepted.

Can you help me design my packaging?
Yes. All custom packaging orders include free design assistance. We provide digital mock-ups before production and can also help recreate low-quality artwork, adjust designs for print, suggest logo placements, and create multiple design variations for approval before production.
Will I receive a mock-up before production?
Yes. A digital mock-up is provided for approval before production begins.
Can you suggest whether embossing or letterpress will suit my design better?
Yes. Our team can review your artwork and recommend the most suitable finish based on the design style and desired outcome.

You can order cards at an MOQ as low as 100 cards.
Can I order multiple designs in one order?
Multiple designs may be possible depending on quantity and production setup. Contact us with your requirements for confirmation.

How long does production and delivery take?
The lead time for custom cards is 2-3 weeks starting from the next day of the mock-up and order approval.

Where are the cards produced and shipped from?
Our embossed and letterpress cards are produced through our centralised manufacturing network in China and shipped globally.
